Throughout the year Safer Streets for Tamaqua’s Little Feet have held sober events to give individuals and families as well a safe place without the presence of drugs and alcohol to make positive connections or reconnect with those friends now in recovery as well. These events are crucial to fighting stigma and successful long term recovery. We invite other recovery-based organizations to our events as well. Our sober events promote good health, wellness, opportunities, and breaking of stigma for those in recovery and their families as well for you are not alone.
